Once Again, #KennyChesney fans trash #Pittsburgh and Leave Town
Once again, Kenny Chesney leaves his mark on Pittsburgh.
On July 2, 2016, Kenny Chesney rolled into Pittsburgh and makes his presence known with local police when concert attendees were arrested for disorderly conduct, robbery, underage drinking, public intoxication, dui, fake id, public urination, assault and a host of other crimes.
When attendees were not being arrested or cited for a crime, they were being sent to the hospital for alcohol related crimes or busy trashing the city. According to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the show ended, "a reeking, hulking mass of garbage leftover from the day’s earlier festivities began to appear behind the exodus of country music fans." The paper describes a scene wherein people held shirts up to their face to avoid the stench as fluid from portable toilets flooded the streets.
People faced with criminal charges will face maximum penalties, which include jail time, fines and permanent criminal records.
